Well that's not even a reasonable question in my world. I've been a lot of things (by way of profession) over the years and now I self-identify as a weaver. When I'm not weaving, I'm thinking about weaving, or talking about weaving - you get the idea.
I am fortunate enough to live in small-town Ontario where I have carved out a little nook in our home that houses my studio.
It is amazing, at least to me, that for centuries every culture on the planet has employed some kind of weaving to make clothing and household items. And it is even more amazing to discover the almost endless variety of colours, patterns and textures that have evolved over the centuries using the same basic concepts.
